FALL DECOR

OK, this if going to FAST and FURIOUS! I really do not have time to blog but I can't help it!!! I've been wanting to do this post for the last month!!! But then again that when the craziness started... a month ago. I got 3 wholesale orders all in the same week! One which was around 100 pcs for me to make!!! I'm still working on that one:( I'm surprised I don't have my wholesaler knocking on my door wondering where the rest of her order is!!! I already shipped around 60 pcs to her but still have the rest to make! I'm getting stressed just thinking about it!
Well, here are some long overdue pics of my house that I've been wanting to share....just wasn't ready since I'm not DONE!:( But if I waited until I was done then Halloween would come and go and then Thanksgiving will be here:) Yummm, turkey...pumkin pie....broccoli casserole....
oops, got a little distracted:)
The plantation shutters you see in the pic where given to me by my mom! She found them sitting in a neighbors garage and asked about them and her neighbor just GAVE them to her! Since they didn't fit any of the windows in her house she gave them to me. My handsome handy man had to make a couple of adjustments but I'm not complaining!! FREE plantation shutters!!! What's to complain about?!?! =0)
First I want to apologize for the horrible glare going on!!! It's not even sunny out!!! It's actually overcast right now and we're expecting 90 degree weather today!!!??? BOOOOO!!:( And I mean Boo in the i'm-not-happy kinda way, wasn't try to scare ya with a random Boo, LOL!! Ok, bad joke...moving on...
Here is my fallized Mantel! made with everything I already owned in the house and just never used:) I did buy the branch decal at Target, love that place!
The female crow was on sale at Micheal's!!! YAY! Love that place too!!:) I had grand plans for Mrs. Crow! She was going to get a one-of-a-kind Princy n Paris original but this gal just hasn't had the time to create a mini piece for a crow when I've live people waiting for their orders!!! Know what i'm sayin?!:)
I also have a Mr. Crow and I also had plans for him! He was going to get a mini mini top hat with feather and all!!! How CUTE is that??:)
I had a pic of him and for some reason forgot to edit him so he will make an entrance at a later date:)
Maybe then he will have his top hat:)
I ordered this wooden sign from a guy off of etsy and I'm being very lazy right now and forgot to get his info...will do upon request;) It wasn't even that expensive which is why this chica ordered it!! I'm CHEAP!:)Wanna hear of another plan I had? This number represents the day me and my husbands birthdate!:) The plan is to also have a 22, 26 and 13 displayed else where in the house. Whether it's on a pillow or another sign. Those are the dates of Paris's, Princeton's and Angel's birthdates as well:) See many plans but no execution:(

Ok, this chair has a loveseat slipcover on it that was originally bought for the sofa! Yeah, I know, I can almost hear ya'll thinking, Huh??
It's a funny story.
I bought this from sure fit cuz it was on sale for $20!!!!! Who could pass it up! BUT I bought it for the sofa!!!
When it came in I was sooooo excited and tried it on the sofa...it didn't fit:(
Discouraged I was sitting there staring at it trying to figure out how I could stuff my sofa in it when I happened to glance at the bag it came in...LOVESEAT was printed on the front!!!
How on earth did I manage to do that?!?!?
I dunno!
Soooo, problem is, I don't have a loveseat. Since the slipcover was on sale it was a final sale. Not wanting to be wasteful I tried it on the chair and ruched it a bit,
I kinda like the way it looks:)
I may sew it ruched together so it won't get sloppy once someone sits on it:)
I now have my sofa slipcover and will take pics of it once I finish up my pillows!:)
I made this Black and white houndstooth pillow cover to cover the original design of the pillow that came with my sofa. There will be more too it once I get the time:)

One last pic of the floral I literally threw together and placed on my dining room table:)
I found this wooden crate at TJ Maxx and put random glass jars inside. I had bought some cinnamon scented pinecones at Michael's and that's whats in the bottom of the jars:)Not professional looking but it gets the point across:)
Ok, that's it for now I have a little one pulling herself up onto my lap and is trying to blog herself!
Hope everyone is well!

P.S. Also want to share that I am involved in a BIG giveaway starting next week!!! It's a BIG one so stay tuned!!:)

P.S.S. I did not proof read so i'm expecting MANY typos!!
It's my signature, what can I say;)HA!

FALL is on it's way!!

So, I've done it once again, I've neglected my blog!! But when things get as busy as they have been for me I have to make a choice as to what gets neglected. It ain't gonna be my kids for one! Princy n Paris comes second (cuz ya don't want unhappy customers!!) and then comes my house! So blogging tends to fall at the bottom of my priority list:( I just got done with the last order for a customer who has been waiting a MONTH for her product!!!:( I NEVER again want to get that far behind!!!
This leaf flower clip was one of her items that I made and loved it so much I decided to share with everyone:)
I went on a hunt for a neat place to take pictures and went to our local Farmers Market:) It was PERFECT for pics and little Miss Paris-Noel did beautifully!! Ya know, some days are just perfect picture days and some are not! Today was a good day! Woo Hoo!!
I was inspired by Dear Lillies beanie hat and had to have one!! Lillian looked soooo adorable in her lil hat!!! I don't make these beanies but Dear Lillie does!:)
I just make the flowers:)
I clipped this flower clip to one of my beanies to give you an idea on how you can use it!

Happy lil girl!
Lovely wildflowers growing over a fence....LOVE it!!!:)
It's been raining all week and there's more on its way.
I've found that taking pictures with a light drizzle going on is quite beautiful!.
Paris and Princeton were doing a little dance on the gravel road.
I think they liked the way it sounded:)

LOVE this picture of my handsome lil boy and girl!! He was being SO SWEET!!!
He insisted on holding up the umbrella for his sister while I snapped away!!
He melts my heart on a daily basis!!:)
*sigh*

Another favorite!!!
Seriously I can't choose which one I like more!!:)

Not sure what she's doing in this picture but I think she tasted something from the bushes nearby?!?!

Ahhh, My absolute favorite!!! I took more pics of her wearing my "Fall in Love" as a sash to show it off better:)
Well, I don't know about you guys but I really can't wait for the true fall weather to get here!!!
I LOVE the fall!!
I've been slowly getting the house ready and have my pumpkin spice fabreeze plug ins making the house smell delicious!!!:) I've ordered a slipcover for the sofa and I've already made one burlap pillow for it so I can't wait to embellish it up with some Princy n Paris flowers!!!
And maybe some altered art also;)

Comfort Zone

So, I know that I have been totally neglecting my blog and I hate it!! I enjoy blogging sooooo much!!!!! Even worse is that I haven't even had time to read everyone else's blog:( Business has picked up which I'm super excited about!!:) It's been keeping me VERY busy!!! When I first started my little biz I didn't really want to be big or anything....but that's somehow changed here in the last month. Now, I want to be discovered!!! I'm waiting or looking for my big break!!!:) I was so new at making things and didn't feel like I had anything new to offer. I now think a little differently. I've come up with some new designs that I've personally never seen anyone do before. It's boosted my confidence a tad:) Trust me I am FAR from being arrogant!!! I just love doing what I do and I can't wait to learn and discover even more ways to create and explore the accessory world!!:) Here is a headband I made to coordinate with a Zozo Bug Baby dress.

I can't wait to pair the dress with a black sweater or long sleeves underneath for the cooler weather:) I went a little bit out of my comfort zone making this headband but I kinda like the results:) I have SOOOOOo much more to share with you ladies but work isa callin' :) Hope you are all well and I miss you guys!! Terribly!!
                            Hugs!!

Kissed by Autumn

Made with Weddings and Autumn on my mind....
My GiGi giving me kisses:)
My sister will be going to a wedding next weekend and wanted me to make her a flower accessory to coordinate with the wedding party. She will be the hostess and wanted something special. We went shopping together and found some pretty fabulous things:)
Originally I wanted to mix peacock blue feathers and swarovski crystals in but decided not too at the last minute. I like the neutral color pallette but I'm also itching to do one with the peacock blue!:)
It's so hard to capture on camera the beautiful sparkle that this flower gives off!
Just breathtaking!
I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!!:)
XOXO

What I Use To Do before Princy n Paris

One day last week I had to go in for a day to work at my old job.
I use to be an Interior Decorator for a large corporate store here in my area.
I did this for 9 years before I decided that my heart was no longer in it like it use to be.
Becoming a mother of 3 caused my focus and wants to change over the past several years.
The hubby and I decided that we would start concentrating on paying off all of out debts and find a way for me to stay at home with our kiddos:)
This was a somewhat easy and not so easy decision.....I went to school for Interior Design and gave 9 years of my life to a company.
I didn't want to just walk away from that.
I was blessed with a wonderful boss and she has stressed to me over and over that she didn't want to lose me....permanently. So she came up with a way to keep me around.
All I have to do is go in every several months for one day of work to keep me on the companies budget.
Seemed easy enough....right?
I kept pushing that date back. For 2 months I pushed it.
Well, needless to say I went in.
While I was there I decided to take pictures for your viewing pleasure:)
What woman doesn't like to see furniture?!?
I was happy to see that ONE of my settings was still somewhat in tact!
It was almost the same as how I left it.
It was also the last setting I did before leaving.
There are different lamps and such that most people of course wouldn't notice....
but I do:)
As you can see there is a couple of things out of place {but if I was still there they wouldn't be}
Don't you just LOVE this zebra settee!!??!?!?
L.O.V.E!
I originally had a yummy chocolate velvet sofa in the place of this green one.
That's the one thing that I hated about doing up a set!
You would get it perfect!
Then is sells!
We use to say that that's when we know we're doing our job right;)
I have sooooo many pics to share with you but for now I thought that I would just share the one's that I did and then the other pics will be of furniture displays throughout the store.
I'll leave those for another day:)
That's it for now!!
Sorry, I know that I've been neglecting my blog!!! I try and do a post at least once a week and this time I really just did NOT have time!!:) Stay tuned for more showroom pics!!

Back Open for Business!

Well, I am finally back open for business!!
I had a much needed break and now I'm ready to work!:)
Here are a couple more new headbands that are now available in my etsy shop
I know I keep saying this but I think that the one above is my favorite!
It's just adorable with the colorful birds and whimsical flowers in all different colors!

This would go with SO much!! =)

What I really love about it is that your little girl could also wear this as a sash!!
 How cute is that?!?!
I'm planning to take pics of Paris wearing it soon, just not sure how soon.
A eclectic mix of colors! This is sure to be a show stopper!:)

Ok, I'm know I've been short and sweet hear lately.....I've just been short on time:)

More Sneak Peeks for the Fall!!

Just wanting to share with you more of my sneak peeks for my upcoming fall collection:)
I totally missed the boat for summer product!
I think what happened was that I was so busy during the spring I could never break away from working on orders.
I didn't take a break, slow down and breathe....I should have done that.
Ever since I've took time off, I've had a chance to clear my head and look around and be inspired!
I'm very excited about my new items!
They are FUN and COLORFUL and even more importantly, VERSATILE!!
In this economy I feel versatility is very important!
The headband shown above is made with lots of fun colors and a 2 way color headband!!
I couldn't decide between a charcoal gray color or the light heathered gray color so I did
BOTH!
It's made with sweet ribbon ties so you have wear as a headband, belt {would look SUPER cute as a belt paired with a TuTu!!}, choker {for those of you who like flowered chokers} and its perfect for a newborn to wear on up to an adult! So baby AND mommy can wear! WOo HoO! That's what I'm talkin' bout!

Here is the heathered gray side:)
What I also LOVE about this new headband concept is there is NO guessing on size! I am shocked as to how many people order without giving me the size or age of their little one.
I can't make a headband to fit if I don't know that little bit of info.
So this is truly easy!
I'm not against making these with an elastic headband if needed.
I understand all babies and little girls are different.
Some may feel that their little one may not keep these on vs. a stretchy headband.
And that is A.O.K.!
As long as I get the size needed;)
Now, another small dilemma I've been encountering, facebook.
I have a fan page on F.B. but it honestly hasn't really helped.
I post items and get very little feedback vs. blogging.
What are your feeling about Facebook?
It's not that time consuming and it's easy to post pics but it's not as personal as blogging.
I still plan on doing both.
Just so I reach the masses, lol!
The headband above has been a color combo I've been itching to do for a while!
I finally got to it yesterday!
A beautiful coral color uniting with seafoam and touches of fawn. LOVE!
This one is another favorite!
I feel as if all you have to do is just add Brown and Voila! instant fall material!
Chocolate brown and bright orange uniquely paired with a plum purple and a small touch of lavender chiffon.
*Sigh*
I'm going to have to keep all of these colors in mind when shopping for Paris's fall wardrobe!
I love to hear your feed back so let me know what you think!
Also, feathers?
Love them or hate them?
I haven't used them in these last few designs because I didn't feel that they needed that extra umph!
The colors speak for themselves BUT I do not mind adding a couple here and there for effect.
My new headband that I'm working in today will have feathers.
I will blog about the newbies later this week:)
Ta ta for now and I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!
We have had absolutely GORGEOUS weather here the last 2 -3 days.
82-85 degrees and NO HUMIDITY!! Hallelujah!
I've been LOVING IT!
